Ink, paper, pencil, acrylic, patching cement, salvaged wood and metal on wood panel with a repurposed wood wine rack on wood panel. 20.5" x 48 x 3.5 (with extra end pieces 55")
Day After Day is a sculptural painting that merges natural and industrial elements to reflect on our enduring relationship with the environment. Created with a rich mix of ink, pencil, acrylic, paper, patching cement, salvaged metal, and wood—anchored by a repurposed wooden wine rack—this wall-mounted piece becomes a living dialogue between material, message, and memory.
The work invites the viewer to consider sustainability not as a trend, but as a way of being. It speaks about the quiet repetition of daily choices, and the power of consistency in shaping our collective future. Weathered textures and reclaimed components reflect both nature’s resilience and our impact on introducing us to pause, reflect, and re-engage with the world more consciously.
Nature, often taken for granted, is elevated here—integral, vital, and worthy of reverence. As parts of the piece shift and settle over time, Day After Day becomes an evolving reminder of how care, awareness, and small actions can ripple outward.
"Day after day should be a conscious state of mind."
This work is a tactile meditation on responsibility, balance, and the deep connection between our inner and outer landscapes.
